This is an adapted play based on the classic Dear Yelena Sergeyevna (Russian: Дорогая Елена Сергеевна), written by Lyudmila Razumovskaya in 1980.

8kinjio is a collective of young theatre enthusiasts who have come together to reimagine and perform this powerful work, recontextualized within a Malaysian setting.

Hidden gems in the poster:

(1) at the center of this poster, book title shows "Dear Yelena Sergeyevna" Дорогая Елена Сергеевна (Russian), which is the original stage theatre play written by Lyudmila Razumovskaya, 1980.

(2) phone screen shows a lock and a key, these are the main elements of 1980's play.
